Motorcycle waves video.
« on: April 07, 2007, 10:11:32 AM »
This video isn't particularly exciting. I watched the majority of it wondering how long it'd take for him to get creamed by something.

But then it gets really funny at 4:25, where he shows off his 'own special wave.'

He forgot the 'two fingers up from the left grip' wave, and the 'I'm stuck at the side of the road-please help' wave. Oh wait, he's riding a sport bike, they generally don't survive the trip to the side of the road...

OMG, that is hilarious!  I wave the same no mater which bike I am on.  And here in SoCal, all riders wave to each other.

I like the part about don't kill me I'm Canadian.
With Canadians the rest of the normal world is
expected to over look a lot of abnormal behavior.
Why is that? ;D

Because we're Canadian that's why!!! Hell, we don't mean no harm...we're a different breed up here and you'd have to be to put up with what we have to. A 2 month riding season, over taxation, penis envy of our military might to the south...that sort of thing...

Dennis...eh!

With his lack of focus, I'd say it is just a matter of time.

Isn't it interesting what some people will do for their own five minutes of 'spotlight'........ Being Mr.Safety-crat I would comment on his complete lack of shoulder checking as he made all of those lane changes.

Note to self:  Don't ever make a stupid video to post on youtube that demonstrates my ridiing (in)abilities and bad practices.  I might learn something from watching it myself however.

I hope I'm not the only person who saw that who wanted to slap that rider and tell him to shut up and pay attention.  Perhaps he's still lucky enough to be classified "will crash" rather than "have crashed".

And frankly, I find the whole subject just plain stupid.  Wave if/when/how/to whom you want to, and anybody that doesn't like it can go scratch.  I'm not gonna let anybody's dumbass ego issues ruin my ride.

Downunder we ride on the left hand side of the road. That means that when you use your clutch hand for the wave it is on the oncomming riders offside. If that makes sense? So I usually just nod....they won't see my low wave at all but I think the kitty is still pretty good...      ;D
