The very first CB750 I ever had contact with...the one that made me want one was bought by my room mate from a good friend...they had an arrangement that if the friend ever wanted to take it for a ride he could...So, one hot summer night, the friend took off riding through the State forest....Hit a deer...Luckily, he was ok...the deer and bike died..
Worst that's happened to me was a bee to the middle of the forehead...and a big fat fly to the sunglass lens as I road past a pig farm...

I once got a huge dragonfly with a 4-inch wingspan. Thank goodness I was wearing the full-face as he would have gone right in my mouth!

Here is a picture, even in my Fiat 124 Spider it could be fatal here
to get hit side the head with a 20lb bird.

The black mark crossing the white line at the red mark is the bike track.
The curve arrow now against the tree was right in his line and he took it out
on his way off the mountain. Poor fellow didn't stand a hardly a chance.

I've hit, or been hit by, a couple of birds over the years, but luckily nothing bigger than a sparrow or a starling. I did get "darted" by a magpie once, but that was at pretty low speed, and the silly bugger would have come off second best, because he hit my helmet "beak first", ha ha! Of course, if he was an Emu...................  ;D

At least it wont have Rod Hull's hand up it's backside any more!!!!!

I love the internet, I read this and thought thought to myself, "who the farook is Rod Hulls?" So I googled him, and discovered that he was (apparently) an English comic famous for his comedy Emu puppet thingy. I barely remember him, but can't say I was in the fan club.......... RIP Rod. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
