This is how fork boots are supposed to look on a CB550

I just replaced my fork boots on my 1975 CB550K.  After I broke the old dry rotted boots away, I could not figure out which end of the fork boots were supposed to be on the top.  I googled "CB550 fork boots" and clicked on "images" in hopes of finding images of CB550 fork boots so I could tell which end was supposed to be up.

This was among the images google pulled up when I was looking for the boots:

Aw hell!!!!!!!.......I just showed that pic to my rear shocks and they started bawling like a little girl!!!!!! :D

oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............mmiiiaaaoooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww (thats supposed to be a cat purring)........lucky I just got the last mouthful of breakfast cereal down before I scrolled down the screen to see that..........glad its not my seat.....great advertisment for Kawasaki though............ ;D
