you left out the part about chewing your beer after the "little swirl"...I don't know how you guys do it...that stuffs gotta put hair on your chest....or stomach lining!!

The correct Belgian term is 'The fond'
There are 3 ways of dealing with the fond.
1. Pour the beer gently in the glass and leave the fond in the bolltle
2. Pour 3/4 of the beer in the glass give the botle a little shake and pour the rest in the glass (that is how I prefer it)
3. Pour the fond in a seperate glass and consume it before or after the beer.
On method nr3 make shure you know the way to the toilet
