Excellent pic... as usual.   :)

Is that a 'two seater' F-15?

Definitely a two seater, but not necessarily an -E ;)

Both the -B and the -D had a brace of chairs.

That's what the F-15B and F-15D were, trainer versions of the -A and -C respectively ;)

Man, you guys are expert in US fighter identification.

Hey, Gerherd, you may have shared this before, but can you tell me what your experience or key bits of life history are that put you in place to take so many photographs?  Alternately, you could be a man of mystery, like the guy in Highlander. ;-)

Seriously, I always differentiate between photographs and pictures.  Yours definitely fall into the photograph category.  As I see it, pictures are snapped.  They show a certain event, person, place, etc. as captured in time.  On the other hand, photographs capture **something about** the person, place, something, etc.  A picture shows a subject, while a photograph conveys something about a subject.

Back home in the UK we use the term 'Anorak' ;D

From the favoured waterproof attire of the myriad of trainspotters to be spotted at the platform ends of most of our major railway stations ;)

Burma,

Appreciate your comments.        After 8 years doing commercial photography in Chicago--I spent the next 20 some years
as a Technical Sales Rep for Eastman Kodak--which meant that I traveled around the country BullS**ing with photographers
about photography.  I found that I significantly improved my cred. if I carried around photos that I had
taken with the best possible equipment using the latest Kodak products.
Consequently I have amassed a significant collection of "technically" decent images.
And from that time in the early 50's when Johnny Egelstone and his buddies roared past me down my little street in Seattle and up the
hill on their motorcycles I have been consumed with "gearheadedness".That explains the subject matter !
BTW Highlander rode an Indian Chief on occasion.

Phil, that sounds like an awesome job.  I'm sure being away from home wasn't the greatest at times, but to travel and discuss (B.S.) your passion... awesome!

Things were great until my last few years when "Lower priced High Quality Competition"
reared it's ugly head and eventually the roof came in on our little party.

The digital era wasn't too kind to Kodak either, but they have been playing catch up and they are coming along.  I have a little 3 megapixal Kodak (Schenider lens) and I love it.  I've bought other low cost Kodak digitals for others, but none shoot as good as mine and I assume it's because of the Schneider lens.  For important stuff, I use my Canon 20D (8.something megapixal).
