My 550F1 is stock minus a braided brake line and in pretty good shape. Likely you can find a complete restoration but if not happy to send photos.
Weren't the 550Fs O, 1 and 2?
Send it along: I may need 'parts' of them, too. I was blind-sided yesterday with this resolution thing: they never made mention of it until I was trying to submit my book's cover and they took exception to the pictures I had on the front.
I've found records of both F0 and F3 in this journey, so it makes it hard to be sure. Most of them are for the 1/2/3 series, though, so I left out the specific numbers in the book - for that reason. I ran into that with the first book, too, when Euro 750s never went past the K2 until the "F" series appeared. I'm already finding it with the 400F series, too. Japan has its own versions as well: my favorite one to try to find info on there is the rare CB250 SOHC4. I saw Japanese pix of a CB125 SOHC4 bike, a racer, but in poor condition. I've seen better shots of the 2-cylinder 50cc watercooled racer which was said to go over 20k RPM, but that was in the 1970s.
I think I'm beginning to understand how archeologists feel?
