If you Did mean so, then the link hereunder has a great photograph of the back of the headlamp.

I wish Koito would re-do some reflectors to fit the Yamaha XS1 and the RD350's...those are some weird sized bulbs with all the hardware attachments soldered to the back of the bulb.  Very difficult to find replacements...

Could you share a photograph or two? I'm having a difficult time picturing how this looks.
I will try...posting pictures on this site has become more difficult than my computer skills allow
If it works good, it looks good...

Steve…. I’ll try and remember the next time I’m in the shop, but there is nothing to see. From the back, they look just like any other std. 7” sealed beam. Same three prong hook up as other lights. There is a nice rubber boot included.

Steve….. Here you go. Fits perfectly in the Honda head light ring. Comes with a nice boot and even a rubber cover for the stock plug in.

It doesn't seem to have a provision for a position light aka city light or pilot light.

It does not, but then none of the headlamps on North American bikes have them.

Do you know any equal quality headlamps which do?

Decades ago it was allowed to drive with them within built-up areas. Not any more. Now the minimum is low beam. So now the use is limited to parking. Some 50 years ago some cars and vans had a genial miniscule light for this, one in each side. They were very small. This is what they looked like on my all times favourite van: the Citroën HY. https://www.citroworld.com/en/webshop/parkeerlicht-hy-set-2-stuks-nos-citroen-hy-HY54404nos
The price today is... interesting.

Great looking headlamp. No one here cares if you are driving with a headlight on. I have my Marchal with a position light always on. I'd run with the headlight on if it were an LED. I noticed the one photo has an LED bulb, I wonder how good it is. I have a very nice set of LED bulbs in my 2021 Wrangler that came with halogen and also my 2018 Colorado (now my daughter's ride). Both work great, good pattern and cutoff.

I run a DSS H4 headlight with the park lamp led always on too. I do prefer the park light pattern with the Yamiya Marchal light, it illuminated the lens better for daytime use. I sold that bike, wish I had kept a few items off of it.

My second set of lights from Toyota parts overstock says parts they need to order may take up to 14 days, I assume that means they have them, but not on hand.

Probably, haha, what with our buying them up!

Toyota overstock printed a shipping tag so they must be in hand. I'm not sure why I bought another set but at the price it seemed prudent to do it rather than down the road wishing that I had. Looking at the bikes in the collection I have 2 Bosch H4's, a Stanley sealed beam, a Stanley 1970 H4, an Aris, A drag specialties, a Koito and a 7" GE sealed beam, probably for a car.

As i remember the marchall it has seperate high and low beam bulbs so if you wire low beam to the front pilot light wire you can have BOTH bulbs on on high beam and melt the oncomming eyeballs of no dipping numpties, of course your battery would go flat as well!

Slightly off topic. Due to a lame PA slide switch, I have had both filaments of my Philips H4 on a couple of times. I noticed the blue HB idiot light on entering a tunnel. Never got stranded. Not bad for a bike which some hold for anemic as far as charging.  ;)

When I got my first 500, it was jury rigged with a later model R.H. switch block such that the tail light was always on, P turned the low beam on and ON position turned the high beam (and low beam) on. This gave it a fantastic high beam light pattern and I never had issues with the battery going flat for the several years that I ran it like that.

Got set of Toyota inserts from local Toyota dealer too, cost ~29 euros, took them 3 days. Sales guy was surprised that for this price there are 2 inserts inside kit

For anyone seeing an out of stock order, I ordered both sets of mine from Toyota parts express in lakeland fla, it took a few days to process, I think they either ordered them from a warehouse or drop shipped them.
I might have to try one in the windjammer on my 78 GL1000. Let's see, you grab that mounting ring and turn it, right? I mean left, right?
