first spring (kinda) ride on my CB500F
« on: March 14, 2025, 08:56:05 AM »
So I took my 72 CB500 out yesterday for a quick ride.  I am in Indiana so we are just getting into season.  I have attached a picture of my bike from a few years ago since I didn't stop to do a photos last night.  It felt so good to be out and riding.  It started pretty well after sitting for like three months.  Anyhow looking forward to another season and at 67 not sure how many more seasons there will be

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Well done!  I'm just down the road from you in Ohio.  The weather has been fantastic this week here.  You might want to join the fun in the 25 Rides in 2025 thread on the forum.....

I'm turning 68 in May and can relate to your feelings.

You will regret the bikes you DIDN'T buy much more than the ones you DID!!!  It's never too late to start a new adventure!
