Wishing everyone a Happy, Festive, and Safe 4th of July.  Ours is the same every year, hot dogs, burgers on the grill, a little corn hole and badminton in the back yard all with friends and family.  Topped off with fireworks in the driveways up and down the block after the sun sets..............One of my favorite Holidays......

Yeah..just seconding Britman's wishes for a happy 4th to everyone.  Use to be able to watch fireworks from our front yard for many years..
but the County moved the fireworks display about 10 miles further away over past few years.  Still enjoy having either hot dogs..or similar
summer food though.  Guess this also marks the start of good old U.S.A.'s 250th anniversary!  Yay!

happy 4th! The 4th and thanksgiving have always been my favorites. Growing up in louisiana in the 60's our street was ablaze with us kids and fireworks everywhere. My dad was the chicken BBQ king so we were cookout headquarters....+ homemade ice cream, bbq beans, and orange crush sodas.
Today, it's prime new york strip steak and still homemade ice cream. Just GF and me.
Tomorrow will be fireworks on the Chesapeake with a ring side seat on my pontoon.
Happy anniversary to the U.S.
