Seat fabrication
« on: April 08, 2025, 08:23:22 AM »
So I found this amazing Corbin seat that I was told was off a 350.

But as you can see it doesn’t fit the greatest in the back part. Anyone have any recommendations on how I can fabricate it to fill in that space or change it so it fits better?

I have that exact seat for a 750...but pretty sure it's for a K-K6 and won't bolt on to K7/8
If it works good, it looks good...

Well the front fits great but the back is the bad part. So I could mount it but I’d have that gap in the back. So just trying to find a way to maybe fill that in.

For one thing, that's not a stock rear fender.

I've got a seat in the shop I'll pull out and see if it may work. I'll send a pic when I get it out.

Maybe try to make it fit the fender and come up with a way to fill at the front
If it works good, it looks good...

The first seat is a Hang 2 brand with tag Honda 750. The second seat no tag. Got them at Honda dealer retiring. If you think you can make one work let me know.

How about $20 plus shipping? I wouldn't think shipping is to much to MI. Would need your address to get you a shipping quote.

Sounds good. You'll have to figure out a way to attach it. Not sure how the 77 was attached, but I know it's a project bike for you.

77/78 have hinges on the opposite side. The 1st seat is probably a 69-76.
The second seat is not likely for a Honda,  not for a sohc anyhow.
