« on: April 23, 2025, 10:40:05 AM »
For the last few days I have not been able to access the UK sohc forum site, on any of my devices , keep getting ( error 404, this site is not secure.)
Has anyone here across the pond tried with success to access the UK site recently?
Thank you and Regards ianmck.

I had a Tapatalk link to the UK site that suddenly disappeared the last month.
I later found that the links had got another order.
Found it on next page. Must have been an update of the app that messed up the links.

The link over a browser no problem

You are not alone. There's a thread there with others reporting issues. No resolutions posted but the Admins say they are investigating.

Hello everyone.

I finally bit the bullet and migrated to a hosting service that offered SSL as part of the package.

It was becoming increasingly difficult to run a site without https (even though we are not actually selling anything) as most browsers try to block “insecure” sites or keep giving you irritating warning messages.

It’s very difficult to track down the fault as about 75% of the members seem to be ok and the others don’t.

Compounded by the corruption of one of the attachment folders which hold images and avatars. My avatar has gone!

I’ve been a bit distracted with family this last few weeks and maybe haven’t been on at the tech support guys hard enough - but working on it.

I will post back here when it is fixed.

Hi Steve I cannot access the UK site, I briefly got in to say that all was fine then it vanished again when I tried it today.
I did get an e mail that something has been posted by Nurse Julie but had no access to it.

Cheers

I’ve had an in-depth discussion with tech support this morning resulting in him admitting that he’s not seen anything like this before.

Now escalated to “Advanced Tech Support”

I have no problem with my phone here  in Sweden.
Brave  Internet browser app and Tapatalk app.
I use Tapatalk all the time. Have a login on the UK site too.

The link to UK site in Tapatalk disappeared for a while but I found it. Might have been other link pushed SOHC (UK) link to another page.

Doesn't load for me either. Says database error.
Hopefully they are just doing maintenance.
