Greetings from Rockland Maine!
« on: May 10, 2025, 12:53:14 PM »
Hello!
I've been lurking on this site for a while and I've found the discussions on this forum super fascinating and informative. The posts here have already helped me a ton as I'm learning how to take care of my 1975 CB550K1, so many thanks to all who've been contributing their knowledge here over the years. I'm new to the sport and the mechanical skillset. I've had my bike for only two years and I want to keep this bike running great as it's my first motorcycle. And I hope we stay lifelong partners even though she's twice as old as me. ;D

Cheers

Howdy from southern NH
My mom was born out on Vinalhaven and still hearty at 99

It sounds like you would do well to order one of Hondaman's new CB500/550 books to keep your steed running. I got one a week ago and can say it is a great help to anyone with a CB500/550. Look above at the bottom of his signature for the link.(or you can find it under the Site Sponsors section)

Post a picture of your bike. We like to see what others are riding and working on.

Thanks for the tip about the book, definitely gonna pick it up. I'll post some pictures once I finish my latest repair to the front brake. Does your mom fish? There are some lobsterwomen her age who still have traps out here!
