Help identify this CB750 4into1 header
« on: May 22, 2025, 02:40:33 AM »
I bought this NOS 4into1 header at last week's Jap Bike Mike's Swapmeet and wondering what brand it is. There are no markings on it and the owner didn't know either. He had it advertised on marketplace as bought from a dealer in 2012.
Edit....
I don't need guesses. Just the facts backed up with pictures to compare please

A couple pictures I took once back to my shop of the header and one with a muffler slipped on I already had that fits.

Thanks but.....
Definitely not Hooker headers.
I have those Hooker Header 4into1 on my K5 and they have individual pipes into the muffler having 4 holes for the pipes to fit into. I don't need guesses.

Gemini made “black” and “chrome” versions in California. One of the few that were permanently welded to the collector. Unfortunately I just sold this one to a friend, so only the one picture to compare.

I dug out my Kerker header to compare the 2.
Definitely different. Kerker is on the right with the bolt flanges.

Mark
38.05 mm OD
They have 1.25" long inserts to strengthen the head pipes at the clamping area, ID is 33.7mm, which means they won't go on the pre 77Ks(with the exhaust spigots), so, they must be used on 77/78K or F0-F3 or remove the spigot and use F clamp system.
The outlet diameter is 64mm

I'm not guessing either, but I did have an old Kerker that used the collets and collars.

Are the collector and tailpipe all one piece? I don’t see and weld seams.if so, that is pretty unique too.
