Custom Side Covers
« on: May 29, 2025, 07:40:29 AM »
Hey Everyone! I've been looking for some replacement Side covers for my 72 CB750. I really like the look of the set on this CB400. I like how the cover fits within the geometry of the frame. Since I'm using pods and will eventually be moving the oil tank into the frame, I'd like a set similar to these. Has anyone found a set like these for the 750s? I assume the bracket pattern would match between the two bikes, so I couldn't just order a set of the 400s.

I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts and see whats out there.

They mount completely diffferently, 2 slots in the top and a hole for a rubber bung at the bottom.

You'll likely have to weld new mounts onto your frame to swap to non-OEM style side covers for the 750K2.
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
