Sohc 750 in DOHC 750 frame?
« on: April 13, 2007, 06:18:16 PM »
Considering my latest aquisition has been chopped and stretched(the down tubes) I am contemplating swapping frames.

I do have a DOHC frame that I haven't measured how similar anything is yet, and was wondering if anyone has done this before.
The only pro to this swap I can see so far, it the DOHC came stock(? or at least it came with one when i got it) with a disk brake.
Well, that, and I don't have to worry about any non-factory welds.

thnx

the arguments against a dohc in sohc frame is that the engine is bigger. so a sohc in dohc frame should be at least easier.
