Yeah gauges were restored - parts from Marcel before he sold the business...

As always beautiful work and the photography really highlights it. Any info on the tailight? Its a little thinner than my K1 tailight and I like it ;)

Thanks for the feedback and following along.

It’s a UK-spec rear lamp used on the early K bikes  here - I’m just using up stock parts I have on the shelf here so ended up fitting what I fancied to be honest.

Same with the CNC fork caps which came from cognito-moto a few years back from memory and never got fitted.

Ah ok that makes sense - it reminded me of a German spec tailight. I did notice the fork caps and good to know - I have TTR400 caps from Kevin in SA and really like them. Looking forward to the next update :)

I love the chair with the towels, and the wood walls, very cozy.
The right handle bar switch has what looks like a third headlight position, does it say P1? Is this a Euro spec item? I Have not seen this.

Sorry for the lack of updates these past few weeks.

Ski holiday with my son and then lots of catching up at the ‘day job’ had curtailed progress until last week.

Managed to press on over the past week and finally fitted the pipes and ran the bike up for the first time this evening.

Just awaiting a petcock rebuild kit and she’ll be ready to fit the tank and hit the road again for the first time in almost 30 years.

Well, she’s up and running and tank fitted this evening.

Timing done, carbs sync’d, clutch and throttle cables adjusted.

Managed to misplace one of the tank badge metal mounting clips (soooo annoying), so need to find one so I can fit the LH tank badge and get her out on the road for a shake-down and ‘in the wild’ photo session.

More on that when it happens…

Couple of photos for now..(may for K0 black/silver tank badges as not 100% sure on the gold badge finish).

James

That sure is nice, better than new. Luckily my bikes don't come out that nice or I wouldn't have the nerve to ride the 1/4 mile of dirt road to the pavement. 8)
