Topic: cb750F rear Spokes Sources?

Well, that about says it.

I've tried dennis kirk, David Silver, Z1.  No 750F rear wheel spokes.

I know that I can get stainless from Buchanan, but not really into dropping $100 on spokes and other posters have indicated that OEM is going to run >90 bucks so I might as well have bought stainless at that point.

Any suggestions on where to go?

Yeeesh!  I feel for you.

Looks like Buchanan's might be the best of your severely limited options.

You could try emailing these guys, although I don't think they have the right ones.  There's always a chance they might be able to refer you.    http://sudco.com/

If you only need the rear wheel spokes, you might try actually getting a quote from a Honda dealer.  If the wheel takes 40 spokes it is possible you might be able to lace the thing for as little as 50 or 60 United States bucks.

I neded one replacement spoke from Honda, it ran $6.  Going to Honda for spokes probably isn't a great idea.....

You've probably already figured on this, but I was looking at some bike specs and .....

it looks like a 1976 750F has a rear wheel size of 4.00 x 18.

I guess I'm wondering if there is something different about that rear wheel and, say, a 4.00 x 18 rear wheel from a number of other 70's Honda 750's (including a 1974  750K)?

David Silver has rear spoke sets for a bunch of American 750's that look like bikes with a 4.00 x 18 rear wheel.  I'm probably missing something obvious, but why wouldn't one of those spoke sets work?

Parts and more have spokes for 30.00. I ordered a front set and they look identical to the OEM ones I have purchased previously
