progress report
« on: June 20, 2005, 09:31:29 AM »
Well things are progressing really well although not as fast as I'd like. I replaced the clutch cable on Saturday because the clutch was stiff as an S.O.B. and I was hoping it was just the cable. The new clutch is smooth and soft  :) I replaced the spark plugs in #1 & #2. The bike warms up and idles much smoother now. I fibreglassed the hell out of the rusted seat pan and took in to a guy today to get it re-upholstered. He said about $100 (great).
All I gotta now is sand down and paint the fuel tank, replace the front tire, get the damned speedo & tach to light up  (Can't seem to track that one down>:() acouple of little things and certify/insurance!
Woohoo, I can't believe how well it's gone so far (knock on wood) and I've hardly spent any $ (knocking again).

Almost there!  ;D

Thanks CBEN, I'll do that. I'll post pics when it looks different and with the "new" seat.
