The 'short' way round...
« on: April 15, 2007, 07:27:44 AM »
The people at Google must have a sense of humour. I think the time listed for this trip is a little optimistic though.

1. go to www.google.com
2. click on "maps"
3. click on "get directions" at the top
4. type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box)
5. type "London" in the second box (the "to" box);
6. click "get directions"
7. scroll down to step #23

Someone has way too much time on their hands.
Go metric, every inch of the way!

If the amount of time is so short for the trip, it makes you wonder why the Europeans wasted their time with building ships! :o

Seems like a nice heavy wool suit and an inflatable goat stomach would have done the trick and allowed earlier colonization of the new world.
