There's your original 550F, 1976 F1. Original exhaust. Likely repainted since the side covers don't have their decals and the tank's missing its badge. Sounds to me like maybe he's already sold it, but if not and he considers it a burden best you relieve him of that. Nice to see if/how it runs but it also looks like it's all there.

The same seller just posted this photo to his FB today with the following caption (translated from Thai)

When we are crazy, what follows is a burden.
Done deal. Prepare to lift it home.

I have absolutely no idea what is going on  ::) ???
Hell yeah. I need friends like this guy.

Thanks Mate.  It does look good and complete.  I totally agree with you that it would be best if I was to relieve him of his burden  :D

Looking over the comments in the Orange CB550 photo and I find google translate does not always do a good job  ::)

Another photo of the CB350.  The cost to restore the bike will far exceed the final market value. What is that ginormous
bar in the front for? And I love the headlight trim  ;)

Looks like DIY crash bars -- but could be surfboard mounts too!

Impossible to Escape the Bōsōzoku

Asahi AF Windshield and customized Shibori "squeezed  handles" with inward-bent, narrow handlebars

Late Edit:  Eyes, Nose, and Big Grin  ;D

This guy has listed his bike on the 550 FB group, called it an '84 CB550F, and has it for 180,000 baht (around $5kUS?), which is insane -- at least for this side of the Pacific.

Seller recently got the CB550 inspected and a new registration sticker and then raised the price. Registration is valid for 1 year.   When you can't sell a bike it usually means the price is too high.  Raising the price is baffling to me. The bike is JUNK!

Valid title and current registration on an older bike has a very high value here in Thailand where I live but $5K never (even if in very good condition).  The seller was very helpful but I decided to walk away from the bike last week after receiving the very short video clip.

Looks like an expensive bike to set right.
The 350 has a very low front tire. Might make a good parts bike.
