Topic: Rusty Tank - Thoughts?

Here’s my plan, tell me what ya’ think, I’ll be using evaporust. 1st, I’d like to rinse it out with something? Then fill to brim with evaporust for a day or 2, then dump out & add diesel fuel(1or 2 qts?) slosh around, drain & add another dose of diesel repeat, drain & then maybe add & slosh the 10oz of 2 stroke oil I have or is that not needed after the diesel…

You can reuse  use  the diesel over and over. The debris and water from evaporust will be at the bottom. Just don't pour that back in.
Keep rinsing with the diesel untill its all clean!

Thanks for all the great input! All the “body parts” original & need paint & the left side cover needs a small hunk w/ tab(lower) needs repair(missing)..  I’m thinking just fill tank to brim with evaporust for 2 days then drain & filter, then rim r with diesel a couple times then add 12-14 oz of 2 stroke & shake around. Then add gas…:)
