I'll tell you about my experience...... first I have learned to buy my LED bulbs from Superbrightleds.com, they are the brightest. Chinese bulbs are a crap shoot.
My signals were all pitted beyond repair on the chrome, so I bought (metal) replicas. The 350F signals are single filament (1156) bulbs, and I wanted the fronts to be also running lights... so if that's what you want, get two-wire signals, then you use 1157 dual filament bulbs. Since the grounding can be iffy on the bike, I added a ground wire to them, so now 3 wires. Attach to the mounting screw for the bulb holder. Run your ground wire to any green, and running light wire to brown power wire on with ignition. You need a new flasher relay for LED's.
For the indicator panel, the LED's are BA9. Always use the same LED colour as the lens it is behind..... amber in the signals, blue, red, etc. in the indicator panel. Get some for the tach and speedo while you're at it, green might be good, or white, your preference. I can't remember which I used there, maybe white.
