Has anyone replaced their speedo with one of these, if so does work OK?

Yes, I bought cheap aftermarket gauges like that for my 550F. The speedo actually worked great and I would have been happy with the set except they didn't match each other - one was more satin black, other was shiny - and the tacho was the wrong ratio for a 550 so the needle barely moved...
