Hello from Poland
« on: November 19, 2025, 10:36:36 AM »
Hello,

Another new member here. I have a CB750F2 SuperSport from 1978 bought last summer from Netherlands. Bike needs huge amount of work to achieve finally original shape but step by step I'm going forward and I've already had done a lot from June.
In front of me painting to restore original colors, fix some rusty parts, etc... I hope restoration will end during this winter. Below some photos I've took. Keep finger crossed :-)

Regards
Marcin

Welcome aboard the forum from New Hampshire (northwest of Boston @1 hour)

That is an interesting looking header on it, do you know what brand it is?

I have a 78F that I bought a year ago, it is almost completely stock. I need to find time to getting it back on the road over the winter but I have paying jobs that keep getting in the way of my free time, part time retired..... and I'm still out on a late season, 5 week round the country road trip on my goldwing to see the grandkids, hopefully home this afternoon to get back to my semi normal life.

Hello,
What do you mean header? Sorry my English is not so good :-)
If you wrote about exhaust I can tell you this is manufactured by Laser Exhaust Technology B.V. (on the can is Marshall's label).
Btw. nice looking bike! Looks like original painting which my bike used to had; I'm going to restore it exactly in such shape.

Yes the header is the exhaust pipes from the cylinder head to the can. I haven't seen one of that configuration.

It is header from Netherlands (made by Laser); just google it to get to know more.
Personally I like it; I have a Deeptone version and it looks great, quality very high and sounds hooligan :-) Indeed generates nice, low bass but in higher rpm becomes sporty.

Welcome, from Colorado, that's a good-looking F2!
We were in Poland in 1984. We journeyed through your beautiful country in a large circle starting at the north end, as a touring choir assisting the churches before the Iron Curtain came down. Zywiec was beautiful when we were there 2 days, Warsaw was in a sad state of disrepair toward the end of our trip, but the people of Poland are among the most beautiful folks I have ever met. :D
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

Hi,
Nice to hear it HondaMan :-) My country has been changed a lot since 1989 when we are free and independent now so I think it is huge opportunity to visit us once again; all of you are always welcome!

Awesome! As far as I know, the Polish minority in the US numbers 10 million citizens; this is almost one quarter of Poles in Poland :-)
