CB750 period correct tires
« on: November 27, 2025, 10:38:48 AM »
Looking for suggestions on tires that look older like the bike. Would like the rear especially to look thick and beefy. Thanks!

IRC Grand High Speed GS-11
Closest I could find that look close to OEM Super Speed tires

I remember my 72 K2.  When the front started wearing the ribs came off in stripps. Looked like spaghetti.

Dunlop K70’s look good. I used them on my cb750K1 this year and worked well.

Mounting the IRCGS – 11 front tire, I don’t see a rotation mark on it. The rear tire has a clear arrow showing the direction. Can I assume that the pattern would be unidirectional on the front tire then?

Thanks Benelli. Good thing because it’s on the rim. Ha ha ha.

IRC Grand High Speed GS-11

I like the IRC's and have them on a couple of my smaller bikes but think Bridgestone, Avon & Continental are better tires. I have all three on my "big bikes".

I put Bridgestone on the GL1000 and very happy with them.
