1978 Honda CB750k Youtube Video Series
« on: December 29, 2025, 10:16:21 AM »
Hey guys - I am in the middle of a restoration and started a Youtube series. I figure since it relates to many of the discussions here, it would be okay to post. Please like, subscribe, and comment and try not to laugh too hard! I really appreciate the support I've been given here! Thanks again!

Great video!

You have a good bike to work on.  Enjoyed the back story.

I documented my '78 K on here, can be seen via the link below.

I went almost as far as you did, I didn't split the cases.

Good Luck, it is a fun hobby.

Thanks Denward! I'm glad you enjoyed. I have a lot to learn about bikes (and making youtube videos) but already this has already been a very rewarding challenge. More soon! My plan is to post weekly until the bike is done!

Fantastic video.  You speak very well - very clear and the video of your Honda CB750 project is fun to watch.  You are off to a great start and your bike washing skills are first class.  Have fun with the restoration and we will have fun watching!

Dont be too daunted by the wiring , it can only go one way and apart from the rats nest in the headlight , is simple . When you say you regret not trying to start it first , I hate to tell you but no way would it have run with those carbs . Good job polishing them up , I just used a couple of cans of carb clean and brushes to do mine . I just finished a 77 F2 with 27 000 miles and the motor was trashed , so hope yours is gooderish . There is another youtuber " peter anderson " That is his tube channel and he does a total resto on the same bike , lots of tips there if you need them . Good luck

Great stuff! I’ve done three of them a few years ago and really enjoying a certain “Deja Vu”! I also bought a large stash of parts from another forum member that restored his cb750K8. If you have any difficulty locating anything you need, just ask. Happy to pass them on. John D.
