wavy tire

i got a new front tire from bike bandit and it got to me with what seemed like way too much overkill with the packing straps . so much so that once removed the tire kept the squished down shape , i figured once mounted and with air it'd take back it's original shape and it has for the most part , the bead looks uniform all the way around , but the tread( ribbed tire) seems to move side to side a Little as it spins , is this just something i did , is the tire messed up ? is this something like when a car sits too long and gets flat spots (which would go away with use )

once i get my rear tire on , and this front one sorted out ....and make new oil lines this thing should be ready to ride ( aside from some tuning) . hopefully i can work out whatever is going on with this tire , I'm sick of dumping money into this bike without being able to ride it ....i named it dough hole , money pit was already taken by my triumph .

If the bead is nice and even around the rim, it should straighten out, esp with use as the tire warms. I've got a huge 4 wheel drive tractor that only runs about 9psi in the tires. even sitting overnight, the tires get flat spots that take about 10 minutes of running time to work out. Makes for a bumpy ride first thing in the morning. :o

I would guess that the side to side movement you see in the ribs on the tire are just production "flaws". The ribbed Duro on the front of my 400 does that too. I have since put about 2000 miles on it and have had no problems.
