If those ev plugs are the next step towards the NGK Iridium plugs, I will pass.  Certainly have chucked scores of quickly fouled Iridiums into the trash.   They never even worked in the modern combustion chambers they were designed for, let alone improve anything going on in some 60 year old oil burner.
If it works good, it looks good...

I have tested NGK and Denso Iridium plugs in my CB750 K6.
They looked to run "colder" than NGK D8EA.

I used the plugs that were recommended for CB750.

My car from 2003 has Iridium plugs as std. It has turbo as many cars got in the 1990's. Replacement intervals 60.000km.

I've noticed the Iridium plugs work better in lean-burn engines than in regular-burn engines like the SOHC4s. I suspect they are not as self-cleaning, given that their surface area is much smaller. This prevents them heating up as much in their chambers, which was very much needed when the ultra-lean-burn EFI systems appeared for cars. That's probably where they should be used?

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

I agree. They work really well on our road cars but when I tried them on the Benelli 750 SEI they fouled quickly and were impossible to clean…..

That is STILL one of the coolest bikes to ever hit pavement!
I've not had a chance to play with one, ever. Someone told me it has 3 magnetos: is that how its sparkers are set up?

Almost nothing in your last response is even remotely scientific or factual with plenty of pure speculation so I am going to ignore the comment.
Unnecessary.

It seems internet opinions on plugs can be like 'best oil' in some respects. Take views on board, then make a reasonable decision. Don't get sucked in.

The difference between plug opinions and experiences might be impossible to unravel. How one bike's plugs perform versus another can depend on so many other variables in the condition and maintenance/adjustment of ignition, head and fuelling systems, even cylinder bores / compression.

As my CB750K6 came to me, it wouldn't run off choke, after working on it, it ran but fouled all 4 NGK D8EAs. More work (significant amount of work), it ran fine, but sooty on both outside plugs. More work, finally sorted and sweet. All on D8EA, standard engine, airbox, carbs and points/coil. So, my experience, on only one CB750 (a K6), is D8EA work absolutely fine if everything else does, as intended.
