Topic: Differences cb350f tachos

Hello everybody,

Let me introduce myself first since I am new here.
My name is Lucas and I am from the netherlands.
Bought an old tired little cb350f a couple of months ago and currently fixing it up to take on a roadtrip to the south of England this summer.
The gauge faces are pretty cracked from sun exposure.
After googling for some replacements i found mine are different from the majority i see.
Mine has a redline from 9200 to 10200 and stops at 12000 (the gause reads 12000).
All other cb350f tachos redline from 10 to 11?
The cb550 tachos are very similar to mine but go to 11 while mine goes to 12.
From what bike/year could this tacho be?

Might have been replaced with a CB350 twin tachometer -- their redline is just over 9K like that one. I've seen that a few times.

If you're looking for another gauge and find a set, I'm looking for a speedo in KPH if you happen to come across one (in good shape and not outrageously priced!).

Yeah they're pretty expensive. Apart from the 750 stuff the parts I see listed in the USA are actually pretty cheap compared to what ppl dare to ask over here in Holland and Belgium.

Couls it be my bike has a cb500  tacho? They seem to be pretty much exactly the same?

Actually yeah, looks like it could be. I always think of the 550 tachometers as being much bigger but forget those 500 tachometers were smaller...
