GL1000 question

 Hi,

 I'm rebuilding a Goldwing 1976 and i need to replace the swingarm rubber boot. My problem is,i can't find one! For those who have been in the same position as me , what did you do?

I would try to find a later model gl boot or a shock boot from a truck and make it work

Maybe the boot from a 82'-86' Honda V4 Magna or Sabre shaft drive bike might work.

 I can't believe it, i can't find that brand new. I bought all rubber parts for my cb77 1965 without any trouble!?!
But can't find this rubber boot for a goldwing 1976....

 I'm looking on ebay right now, i don't know the size of the drive shaft of a honda trx 400,but maybe the rubber boot would fit!?

I can not confirm it as I didn't have gl1000 but the ai(yuk) rely for the web "alternative gl1000 driveshaft boot" is to use the Valkyrie gl1500 boot which is still available from Honda.
#8   $14.39 which is cheap enough to take a chance. The Valk and the Gl1000 both have round swingarm ends for the boot slip on fit looking at the part fiches.

New CB750 K6 Anteres Red, to replace the totaled K5, I sold this K6 at 45k in 1983, I had heavily modified it, many great memories on it and have missed it greatly.....

 I recieved my orders this week. I ordered two "boots" the first one is the link i posted and the other is a boot for the BMW r50,r60,r69 driveshaft. And at first glance,i think this one will fit pretty well. Now,my driveshaft is still on the bike so,i can't take any measures.If one of you have a GL1000  boot and can give me some measures, it would be great.
