long story short a mate rang me said his mate had a brand new bike wont go properly,I said take it back to the dealer,he said he cant its 6 years old,WTF?he bought it new in 2020,rode it home and didnt ride it again?(has 60.2 kays on it!)tried to start it few years ago was crap so pulled the carb,same thing its running crap,ok I get hold of the bike(I said to bring new battery),drained carb and ran it on aux tank I have,ran fine but hanging idle then quit dead like switch off,crank crank no go,few times over,pulled tank to check hidden connectors,found loose one on ignition unit under the seat I think?disconnect/reconnect and its running fine now,rode it up n down my street after fuel tank drain n flush,its been street registered all these years aswell!weird man just weird?I put 5 litres fresh fuel in the tank,so I said I got it going your mate owes me a 100 bucks,picks it up tomorrow.
