Topic: So it begins, my first CB750

Hello there  some of you may have seen my post last month about me buying my first CB750.

Take into consideration I am a 30 year old guy from Portugal, CB750's aren't common here at all, and 99% of them are imported.
I've been looking to purchase one for a long time, I love these old bikes and the Honda CB750 and Yamaha RD350  are my dream bikes from the 70's.

After many youtube videos and a year of searching, I finnaly found one I think is worth giving a new home in sunny Portugal.

This thread will reflect my journey. I hope you enjoy 
Many mistakes will be made, but I am here to learn

First things first, the CB750 bible has arrived

The bike arrived last Wednesday, sadly the forum has been acting weird so only today was I able to access it

Does this stamp look familiar to anyone?










Sadly the previous lead acid battery spilled and there's minor corrossion which I've already addressed 





Fuel tank has seen better days, but it's already looking much better (will update in future post)


I think it looks fairly complete overall, I know some parts are mixed up (frame and engine are K6, fender K7, fuel tank is earlier petcock style, etc)

It looks to be a good foundation to cut your teeth on. Have fun with your project, I'll keep an eye on your progress.
