part model number search
« on: April 18, 2007, 10:52:31 AM »
I just got my Honda Gasket kit from Ebay.

The seller stated it was for a 550.  I've searched the web to check the part number but all I'm coming up with is Gasket Kit A.

Can someone check the part number for me.

06110-390-S01   Thats and S, not a 5.

thanks
chris

go online to Service Honda, under interactive pricing list you can put the number in and it will give you a description of that part, doesnt help with year or model.  I have a 550 parts manual at home and I'll check the # there this evening.

already been there,  part comes up as Gasket Kit A.

I checked my parts manual but can't find a part for just the kit.

The 390 is the part code for a 550F. Are you trying to find the specific parts in the kit?

How do you know the 390 is for 550F.

I just wanted to verify that the kit I bought was for a 550.

Thanks

There's a lot of good info on that site. I think Axl pokes his head in here every once in a while.

Chris, check the general faq section, there is a post there titled honda part numbers- what do they mean? You can also go to http://www.cmsnl.com/ and check there, last time I checked they had a list of product codes for honda bikes.
