Be careful of the "towers" that hold the float pivot pin, so you don't break them off while trying to get the pin out to remove the floats.  Keep all the parts from individual carbs segregated in separate pans.  There's probably more but that's what come to mind first.

A wee tidbit. If you encounter any parts stuck with varnish, use heat gun to soften grunge before removal.

the biggest advise i can give is dont force anything.  it all does come out nicely.  if things are stuck heat or some starting fluid will get em out.  dont pry the bowls off, once the screws are out just tap the side of the bowl with the back of the screwdriver.  the float pin will likely be the most difficult, be careful not to break the towers.  use wrenches on the needle jet holders while using screwdrivers to turn the jets out.  dont bend anything or use too harsh of chems, lots of rubber to damage.

As big of a pain in the butt as pulling the carbs is, you REALLY want to do this right the first time!
Work slowly, keeping each set of carbs separate.
Simple green, carb cleaner, an old toothbrush, and a few 12 ounce containers filled with water, barley, yeast, and hops are the only specialized tools you need.

TAKE YOUR TIME AND DO IT RIGHT!!!!!  Don't ask how I know this..........:)
