Havent made it out yet but will have to on Friday as I have an appointment to get my CBR safetied....temporary plate runs out on Saturday so whether it is warm or not I will have to ride it over...only about 15kms so hopefully not too bad but if there is snow then it will definitely be a no go! Then I will have to bribe my buddy with a truck to give me a lift...

Well it looks like my riding season is done...the Front fork seals have completely gone on the front of the VF. I bought one seal kit back in oct when i bought the bike but havent been able to afford to get them installed...hopefully soon i will be able to get ahold of another pair of forks and have them rebuilt with new seals and new springs. but with the way they were leaking today i have a feeling there may not be many more rides for this season..unless i buy the GS i was looking at....

Got the six-fitty out for the first time this spring, all new lube and such.  Great ride.  my other bike has efi and starts no matter the temperature, so that never really gets parked for the winter.

Nicely done Seaweb!

I got out on Saturday for about 200kms...sure was chilly though and that was without the 108mph windchill! I only hit about 90 or so mph...

I had my first ride. Ususlay it is still raining and snowing this time of the year but it is a fine 23 degrees Celsius. I did it in two steps last week I changed oil and filter and put the battery on the charger. Today I rode.

Turns out that the battery does not hold its charge very well. I stopped at my brothers place and by the time I got out the battery was completely dead. I purchased the battery in 1992 so I really should not complain. I'll buy a new one tomorrow.

Hey Johnny, I bet it was a nice ride while it lasted....and I thought us Scotsman were cheap! Get the gel battery (AGM) - they are really good!!

i never stopped riding, if it was 40 degrees F or better, I rode, but there were some gaps as long as two weeks where i just couldn't.  my 'season' began on saint patricks day when i came back to baltimore from virginia to get my bike down there.  160 miles from b-more to richmond with no problems after a winter  of minimal use.  It is my daily get to work ride down there now and i am logging around 200 miles a week on those sweet virginian roads and riding back to b-more whenever i can.  feels good to ride a lot again.  my sympathies to those who have not yet entered the season, and my jealousy to those that never face the unseasonable.

heres to a happy healthy and long 07 season

I have been out about 4 times this year.  Went out on 21/04/07, for about 40 miles now and found I have a major oil leak from the oil restrictor on the left side, very oily jeans when I got home, the bike is now in bits and I also found 3 broken piston rings but no damage in the bores, so Dave Silvers is going to make some more money out of me.
