As an offset printer, I found this subject line to be totally hilarious. Word is the bane of my existence

Word documents reflow depending on which computer or OS you open them with. Graphics disappear entirely. Word only supports CMYK, RGB (no Spot colors). A nifty program for printing reports and such from the source computer, but useless for much else, in my opinion.
OK, so maybe I'm being a little harsh towards ol' Word. It's just that I've got to show up extra early on Monday in order to troubleshoot 15 Word documents that HAVE to get done ASAP. The client didn't understand the concept of converting to .pdf or was "too busy" to do it (usually the case). Of course, if there is ANYTHING wrong with the finished job the client will expect us to redo it for free, despite my numerous warnings about problems associated with Word.
I'm sure, Heffay, that if all our clients were as savvy as you that there would be no problems whatsoever. Unfortunately, anyone with a computer these days thinks they can be a desktop publisher
