Where can I find some quality ess turns?  I've checked all the local auto parts stores but they just look at me funny.

The only place I have found ess turns is to get out into the middle of no where and stop at the first farm you see, they should be growing some behind the barn.

For bottom air you really should try some NO2.  Not only is it heavier than air, so it stays at the bottom, but if you break down in the middle of nowhere it will provide some amount of entertainment while you wait for help. :) :)

I am pleased to inform you gentlemen that in my garage I have a spare bag of top air. this can be used as bottom air in the northern hemisphere. the down side is that it will be tomorrows air. if this is a problem please consult your local dealer.

Anyone know where I can find some good quality rubber weld? I held the JB's rubber weld wears out too fast. My front tire will not hold top or bottom air. Oh and I have some spare left side cover adjuster too if anyone wants to trade.

As a chemist, I thought I should mention that low spring temperatures might throw off your otherwise well-intentioned bottom air searches. At lower temperatures, the top air might experience some shrinkage, and contaminate your otherwise perfectly good used bottom air.

I'd really suggest you pony up the big bucks and go for quality Genuine Honda bottom air, as it's generally guaranteed to have a logo. Then again, with the Honda font download recently being offered for download, those pesky countefeiters might now be passing off fake Honda bottom air. I'm lucky that my Honda dealership is obviously using real Honda parts, as everything is at least twice the price of OEM. It's just really hard to see the Honda logo on the edge of those 40$/each carb gaskets.

Anyhow, good luck with that bottom air. I'm lucky that mine hasn't yet escaped.

Oooh! Are they chrome-plated muffler bearings? I need a full set for my bike and I'd be interested if you're offering.

Unfortunately they didn't chrome-plate them in the '60s, so they just look like this:

Wow, they got Elbow grease, blinker fluid, [good thing, I'm a little low], and even a left hand metric screwdriver. Better than JC whitney.

Elbow grease.  I remember as a little boy going out to the driveway to help my dad wash the car.  He told me to put some elbow grease into it.  A bit later he looks, and finds me rubbing my little elbow hard on the car.  "What are you doin?"  "You told me to put some elbow grease into it."   :D

I fear that this thread is going to go on forever unless we put a stop to it. I mean, nowadays elbow grease comes in mineral, synthetic, silicone, white, and who-knows-how-many-other forms....... so it just can't be discussed in simplistic terms.

I stick with the organic.  Only comes out in small quantities, though.   ;)

Wasn't "bottom air" one of the key ingredients in the production of Lucas Smoke? With the rising popularity of collecting/repairing older British cars and motorcycles, I wouldn't be surprised if the costs of the "bottom air" feedstock go through the roof. This could cause an increase in "bottom air" theft!

Folks had locking gas caps during the fuel crunch, I wonder if I can find some locking valve stem caps to prevent the thieves from stealing this prized air...

Hey guys, I hate to dig this up....but you don't need bottom air, 7/8 of your tire is not flat. All you need to do is put your bike on the centerstand, and roll your tire until the flat spot is now on the side, leaving a perfect round spot to ride on.....come on guys....is it that hard? ::)

Not applicable to motorcycles, but they always tell you to rotate your tires on your car.  Don't they rotate when you're driving?

You all know that someone would bring this up at some point, didn't you?
