Anyone used tapered bearings instead of the origional ball set? Got mine torn down and wondering if anything better than the stock ones are out there?

I installed tapered in my 350F 20 years ago and it did make a difference.  I would think you could still find them today.  Check out the CB400 performance web-site, I think it is TT400?

I have recently installed these on my 350. I haven't run the bike yet , but I can tell you it's pretty easy to find these. You'll be paying about $40. You can always find them on ebay or try any large mc store.

Found what I'm looking for! I can get them from Parts Unlimited for $43 or Pro-Flo for $38. Same manufacturer either way. Part #22-1011 in case anyone else needs them.

I was wondering about the lower set and the dust seal? I was thinking I may need to make a small spacing bushing to suport it? any suggestions?
