The switch, well, I'm not 100% happy with it. It heavy, thick plastic, not aluminum. And for some reason it doesn't fit my bars like it should. With it tightened all the way, its lose and spins. I put a piece of tape around the bar, and that stops it from spinning, but with it only having 2 screw to mount, it bulges at one side. You may want to ask Doug (see the bike of the month thread) about it as he has it on his cafe and he may have had a better experience with it.
For the throttle, its great for $30. Made by Emgo, its painted (powdercoat?) black aluminum, and it uses 2 screws to mount. I replaced the 2 black SHCS provided with stainless as after 2 weeks in the garage during winter the bolts were speckled with rust. Also, I cut the throttle tube down as my grip was shorter then the tube, but I'm sure that's pretty standard based on what you are using.
I can't say anything about performance, as the bike is in the build stage.
Overall? I'd buy the throttle again in a heart beat (they have a chrome version as well, and cyclex are great people), but the switch? I don't know, the jury is still out.
