Not much done today, cleaned up the Airbox and filter housing (was given them by McWilliams- thanks mate)

CB 500 Airfilter system, note wire mesh is missing (was very rusty so I'll replace with new mesh)

Mick - can't believe you took Dave's bait and posted that beauty up here. He's such a mischief-maker. And now you're his anointed accomplice!  :D

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Lewis

After skimming this thread it seems like a bunch of blokes arguing over esoteric aspects of various foam filters. They should find something better to do with their time, like, arguing over the relative benefits of rocket fuel and the slide pin position to get more fuel through to the engine.

Now I understand, Dave you have dropped me right init haven't you.

That's the biggest pod I ever saw.  ;D ;D ;D

On a scale of 1 to 5, how does your bike run with that pod and tell us about the rejetting.

1 = terrible
2 = not bad
3 = pretty good
4 = great
5 = like a sewing machine

 ;D ;D ;D

Well that plastic never breaks down Dave, so grab your shovel and have at it! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I was confused why you were posting about a stock air-box on a pods thread Mick, but now I also understand. Davey is a bit of a stinker. ;D ;D ;D

Don't you guys know the secret to tuning pods without re-jetting is to partially cover the pod until airflow is restricted as much as the stock system?? ;D ;D
