So the rear drum is obviously old and fried

I've checked Dennis Kirk and see some organics from EBC listed- Although I still can't tell if they're actually for my 550 or not.

Any brand you guys like, or should I just replace the stockers? I'm not ordering from the dealer. No. So I guess ebay, although it looks as if pickings are slim.

Thanks for any suggestions.

HI
I purchased some after market shoes from a well known supplier of honda parts in the uk , they did not fit very well and needed some work
with  FILE  to get them to fit , the circlips on the mounting posts would not line up at all , i  do not remember the brand .

Strange thing was  the honda ones i took out did not seem that worn and did in my view have a lot more life left in them

Hope this is of some help , and yes i wish i had brought honda ones

  • Nothing is as cool as that which you made.
bought some EBC out of PartsUnlimited loacal dealer. Ran about $35.

Turned out I didn't need them after all! There is a 4 tooth range of adjustability on the rotating shaft. I was clear to the wrong end without realizing it! So, since I had the shoes, and it was open, I used them anyway.

So now I've got this set of used shoes. If anyone wants them let me know. (I'd like to get $15 out of them.)
