Float height on 77/78 carbs

 what is the float height adjustment on the 77/78 carbs. I tryed the same adjustment as for the  75 but gas just flowed out of the overflow. I think its 26mm

A copy of the K8 manual I have on CD indicates float height it 14.5 mm +/- 0.5 mm.

- which puts the fuel level about 1/8" - 3/16" below the bowl/body joint

Set the floats at 14mm. Works well on my 78K.

I set em at 14 mm on my 77 750 F
1977 CB750F
1985 V65 Sabre
1986 VFR 750 (gone but missed greatly)
