Interesting playing style...

I enjoyed that.  Can't identify the mic he's using though, and it's driving me nuts!

It looks like a KM 187 with some sort of attachment over the diaphragm.

It's called fingerstyle. If you like that, check out Preston Reed. I think the mic is an EV em20 series. Bigtime broadcast dynamic mic. I use one on my floor toms.
