Hi, I'm Mike from Mn.
« on: April 25, 2007, 01:32:32 PM »
I bought a 1977 cb750k this spring. I found this site and registered, and am I glad I did. I just got done rebuilding my front brake calpier as per the instructions I found here. I bled the system as per directions I found here and it worked right the first time. That brake was screeching going down the road. Now it is quiet, and stops me right now.
I grew up with a 1972 Suzuki ts250 all stripped down. I got it in 1974 and it was real beat up. We had an unauthorized motocross course near my country home in the '70's and I spent a lot of time there. After I sold it in 1978, I didn't ride again until I bought a 1984 Honda Aero 125 a couple years ago. That is now sitting in my shed while I ride the 750. I loved these bikes growing up and now I have one. I love riding it, and I can't believe I went nearly 30 years without a ride of any type. I was a fishaholic I guess. I live in the south metro of Mpls. St. Paul Mn.  This is a very cool site.

Welcome Mike,
Theres no doubt this site is the best resource for these bikes, and the members are good people too.  I can't count the number of times this board helped me out with questions and procedures.   ;D

How about some pics of your ride?

I have to get the digital camera out tomorrow to put some stuff on Craigslist to sell, so I'll try to get pics of bike too.
