Anyone in greater Denver metro area-
My buddy Evan's 73 CB500 was stolen from in front of his house (20th and Federal),  Black tank, superbike bars, 4-1 chrome kerker exhaust. Decent shape.  4/27 p.m. Has old-school hotrod style blue dot tail light- dead giveaway. please contact me through email above or Denver Police.

That stinks.  Hate hearing stories like that.  I would suggest watching e-bay for parts.  If there are recognizable parts (distinguishing characteristics) you might catch the guy trying to sell parts.

Man that sucks!  I'll definitely keep an eye out for it.  Shouldn't be too hard to spot if the POS is dumb enough to ride it around.

I'll copy this message to the Denver Rusted Nuts message board, too.

Wow!  Turns out Evan is one of the Rusted Nuts and the notice has already been posted there.  I love the classic bike community!

Edit:  Just realized "Supersport" is you, Jason.  No wonder it's already on the Nuts board.  Have I met Evan?

Do you guys have a picture you can post? If you can post numbers also that might be helpful. I can keep an eye out for it in the Springs. You should also inform the wreckers in Denver and Longmont. Should I shoot first then ask questions later?  ;)
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

That sucks!
I hope you can get it back, and I would DEFINATELY contact local bike yards.

And if you see it out there.... don't shoot. Follow the theif until they park the bike THEN SHOOT.
Wouldn't want to damage the bike, or splatter it with blood.

I sure hope you find the bike and get it back in good shape.

Hope the low lifes responsible for its theft get............ (insert your own imagination here).

It breaks my heart to hear of such sad events.  I know how empty I would feel.

Please post a picture, if possible. I live in Lakewood, work in Centennial.

I'll contact my junkyard acquaintences, too. Do you have a serial number for the engine/frame?
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

I'd keep an eye on the papers and Craigslist, just in case the thief is stupid enough to try and sell it that way.  Probably worth keeping an eye out down our way, too (New Mexico).  It's not that far a haul.
