Christchurch New Zealand early Autumn run...
« on: April 29, 2007, 01:33:57 AM »
I'm part of a group of classic Japanese motorcycle enthusiasts. We ride out monthly. Today we went up to Arthurs Pass, a round trip of about 250 miles or so.

Photo shoot at the Waimakariri Bridge.

The river was just a trickle as there was no snow melt.

My ride. Carbs totally rebuilt and the engine fully tuned. It's pulling like a steam train and hasn't missed a beat since I bought
her in late 2005.

Arthurs Pass for petrol. The settlement is about 1500 feet above sea level. The tops of the mountains are around 7000 feet high in places.

Man, those tripples are thirsty.

Chillin' after lunch.

Great pics and bikes!  ;D

I have always wanted to visit New Zealand.  Although the length of the plane trip fills me with dread   :'(   ;)
