Topic: Where are all the CB350 twins at?

I know there are a few of us on this board, but it seems like with the popularity of the 350 twin, that they would have their own forum or something. Not anything against this forum at all, love this place, lots of knowledge, and friendly folks. But I'm just curious if any of the Twin guys frequent any other forums.

         Steve, I don't know about a forum for them but seaweb built a CL350, I think CBGBs has one he's cafeing and ohiocaferacer has built a cafe, building another one and has a site ( ohiocaferacers.com )of his own you could check out. These people would surely try to provide any info they could to help out.  Check them out. If there is any other place to go to, I would think they should be able to help out. There is a site on line that tells about building a road racer 350 also. I don't remember what it's called right off. If I can find it before someone else chimes in, I'll tell you about it. Like you, I'm surprised that there aren't more.

Most of the 350 twins were worn out and thrown on the trash heap long ago.  Don't get me wrong, because I like them (I had 3 SL350s), but they are not a particularly durable engine.  Especially if run hard, and most were.

 Yeah! they were normally run hard and long, I wore out my share of them.

     Always thought they were great little all around bikes. And I think for pure FUN riding, they can't be beat.

 See them every now and then for sale, but people are thinking they're top dollar items now.

 There was a CL on there for $100 a few weeks ago, but no title, and when I looked at it no seriel numbers so I passed on it. The way I look at it, titles can be lost, but it takes effort to 'lose' a seriel number.

Well I know you guys are all here. I follow your buildups, past and present, I'm just wondering about everyone else. I've seen the OCR site, great stuff. But it just seems like there should be more info and parts out there with all of the bikes that campaign in vintage racing. He's on eBay, which lists a few more of his parts, his username is Footwerk. Cool stuff. But he's really one of the only few race dedicated Twin sites, for the 350 at least, that I've found..

I wouldn't sell ours for less than $5000.00

   Oh don't get me wrong, some bikes are worth it, I'm talking about the guys that have a bike they dug out of a scrap pile 3 years ago, where it sat under garbage for 10 years after being ridden into the back of a garbage truck at 50mph, then used as a bump stop in the garage, they see a fully restored one on ebay or at a car show go for hefty cash, then assume theirs is automatically worth $3-$5000, some people don't understand that if it's not running or rideable it's not worth even running but rough price.

  My bike isn't the best around, but you'd have to come up with a good chunk of cash to get me to sign the title!
