That would have to be the B29 Superfortress??   No engine levers for pitch and mixture nor any engine instruments. So am guessing it had a flight engineer. Not a jet, too early?

Being on vacation, I don't have access to the person that would know the answer, but that would be cheating, wouldn't it?  So, my uneducated guess is a B-17.  That is a glass nose I see, isn't it?

Alas, I fear Toycollector has it! The shape of the perspex at the front is identical to that on the B29.
And I was going to guess something a lot smaller, like a B25.

I've been in both a B-24 and a B-17. If memory serves me well the flight deck in both of them is well above and behind the nose. So, by process of elimination I have to say it's something else. Also, judging by the cockpit I have to say it's of a more recent vintage than WWII. Okay, that's all I got... :)

Definitely a B29 superfortress...  Though I'm not quite sure what the apparatus is in the front...  Optical bombing scope or some sort of surveillence photography apparatus?

Bombing in Vietnam/Cambodia, I'm guessing?

my first guess would have been an X-Wing from
Episode 4 of Star Wars...so I would have been wrong huh?

Woo-Hoo!!  My plan is to eventually have an entire room plastered with nothing but pictures of your bike.
An odd goal, for sure, but attainable! ;D ;D

Hey now!  I spent the first half of Saturday, before going to work, doing all my chores specifically so I could spend all day Sunday riding, which is exactly what I did. ;D ;D
