Harro!
« on: May 01, 2007, 06:54:52 AM »
Hi,

Just bought my first motorcycle last week: a 1976 CB750 K6 (still trying to nail down exactly what the K6 means.. ;))

Anyway, paid a little more than I wanted for it, but the bike only had 15k miles on it and had all of the original parts.  The paint was meh so I've already taken the side covers and tank off and they're being painted.  Picked up some different handlebars and a few other parts to make it look a little more cafe.

Don't have my bike license yet, but I'm taking an MSF course this weekend (hard to find time with work and all...).  Anyway, I'll try and post up some pics tonight.  Noob questions to follow.

Did a little body work on the tank and took it to the body shop hoping they could finish it up and paint it for less than $100.

WRONG!

They wanted $275 for everything, so I told them "Good day" and took my tank back home.

Dove into the wonderful art of bondo last night :o
