For my brother. Dirty '79 Yamaha XS650 with 19K on it.
$600. Leaked fuel from a rather strange dual petcock fuel delivery system. Came with brand new petcocks which are engineered by the aftermarket for easier and more efficient operation, something I can attest firsthand to. They're much better than the stock system. A couple of new fuel lines and the leaks are pretty much eliminated. The 2 stroke 653cc OHC engine pulls nice. I bought it with a dying, incorrect battery and once I replaced it with fresh, correct 12V model it ran much better. Looks like it doesn't really leak any oil. The Mikuni carbs could use a tweak despite the seller saying he cleaned and reset them. It rides on newish but very cheap Cheng Shin tires, wrapped around stock Cast rims that look like Lesters.
The Haynes manual it came with looked like it was never read. Not dirty nor even cracked at the spine, so I already know we have some work ahead of us, but it runs much better than my 550 did when I bought that.
